Finetech Engineering was founded in 2023 by Santhosh Kumar VP, bringing together 20+ years of hands-on industry experience in laboratory testing equipment and precision manufacturing. Based in Thane’s Wagle Estate industrial hub, we set out to build a company that Indian manufacturers could trust for accurate, reliable, and fairly priced testing solutions.

In just over two years, we have earned the trust of 100+ customers — including Aditya Birla Group and Pidilite — by delivering products that meet global quality standards with responsive, honest service. Every product is backed by ISO 9001:2015 certification

We specialise in laboratory testing equipment for the plastic, rubber, and paper industries, along with precision specimen cutters and moulds for sample preparation. We also manufacture industrial knives and blades for food processing, packaging, textile, and other manufacturing sectors.

Santhosh Kumar VP

Founder & Managing Partner

Santhosh Kumar VP has spent more than 30 years working with machines, tools, and manufacturing — not from an office, but from the ground level. He started his career on the shop floor, learning how things are actually made, fixed, and improved. Over time, he became deeply skilled in building laboratory testing equipment and understanding what industries truly need to get accurate results.

Later, he worked on large industrial projects in Saudi Arabia and the UAE with companies like Saudi Aramco and Samsung. These experiences taught him how important quality, timing, and precision are in real-world environments where there is no room for error.

Finetech Engineering started from this experience. Not as a big idea, but as a simple goal — to build reliable products, keep things honest, and support customers properly. Even today, Santhosh believes in doing things the right way, not the easy way.

Ajay Kalathil Kooloth Meethal

Co-Founder & Managing Director

Ajay Kalathil Kooloth Meethal brings a fresh and modern approach to Finetech Engineering. With a background in mechanical engineering and a Master’s in Additive Manufacturing from Deakin University, Australia, he combines technical knowledge with new-age manufacturing ideas.

He plays a key role in improving product design, introducing better processes, and making sure the company keeps up with the latest industry trends. His focus is on making products more efficient, practical, and aligned with current market needs.

Along with his technical role, Ajay also handles business growth, customer communication, and digital strategy. He works to ensure that every client gets a smooth and professional experience while working with Finetech Engineering.
